I downloaded 'Historykill' off the net to clean my cache's - which it did. It was only a 20 day trial or something but that was ages ago and it still pops up whenever I start my pc up.

The most annoying thing is it counts down from 45 to 0 and I have to wait till it's finished before I can do anything. I've tried to uninstall it but it doesn't work. It says on the advert - go to start, press uninstall and it will be gone - but it still comes up.

Does anybody have any ideas please???? :help: :help: :help:

run msconfig, find the program in startup and untick it.

try going to control pannel - add remove programs and try and delete it that way
