I would be grateful for some advice.

We have both tuberous and Wax Begonias growing in large pots in the garden.

Have looked up winter care for the tuberous, and think we know what to do!

Most of the advice for the Wax Begonias appears to be bring inside, ours are large and spreading and I'm not sure we would have the room for them.

Is it possible to prune them well back before bringing them in, if so how much should we taking off?

Many thanks

I think I would be tempted to cut it back and use stem cuttings as a back-up. I've had a look through my books, and it says that you can make root cuttings too, which suggests that you can also cut off parts of your large plant and pot them up...
I have read that you can pop either a leaf or a stem cutting in a dry zip-lock bag, and leave it sealed in a bright but not sunny spot until the roots form. When they appear, pot it into compost.
