Changing your passwords would be a start...

'And stop doing what ever it is you were doing to get infected in the first place!'

I'm serious about this part by the way - trojans like that don't just install themselves by magic - you must know what you did or have some idea where it came from.

My guess is a keygen for some pirated software, or maybe a 'video codec'? Either that or someone else with access to the machine using something stupid like limewire?

Without knowing the exact name and location of the file detected by kaspersky it's impossible to tell whether or not this was a true detection or a false positive (http://www.viruslist.com/en/glossary?glossid=153654932).

If it is a true detection, it's a backdoor (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2004-101214-5358-99) Backdoor.Bifrose is a back door that sends information to a remote server. It's the worst kind (http://www.viruslist.com/en/glossary?glossid=189208417) of infection, one that opens up your computer to remote control by a hacker.backdoor Trojans can be instructed to send, receive, execute and delete files, harvest confidential data from the computer, log activity on the computer and more. It's just like someone watching over your shoulder whilst you use the PC, they can potentially see everything you do on it.

A reformat of the HD and re-install of the OS is the only way to be sure that the computer is secure without extensive analysis of the system.
