I've got this from another website but it seems that we've only allocated Preston 1154 tickets for when we play them at home in a few weeks.

Now I know it is unlikely they will sell of them, but anyone any ideas on the reasoning behind the restriction.

A theory so far is we are putting them in the corner and giving this area of the ground over to kids, although the link say that it is for the Carlsberg West Stand upper.

Don't Wednesday usually just offer a few blocks of the upper tier first when they know a smaller away following will be coming?

Rubbish, they brought well under 1k to Hillsborough last season on a Saturday afternoon early in the season - they won't even sell this 1154 allocation for a night game.

Maybe they've only asked for a small allocation, i.e. just the blocks in the middle of the West Stand.

Bit odd though as they are telling people to get them quickly.

Could it be to do with Stewarding, presumably this is two sections and they to know how many Stewards are needed!

So now you have a good excuse for when the crowd is less than 20,000 AGAIN

I can remember Preston coming to Hillsborough last season, they only brought about 600, and if i remember rightly they hardly sung a song atall.
