Does anyone know where I can get 5 string banjo lessons?

Martin Simpson lives in Sheffield. I'm aware he occasionally gives guitar lessons so, as a banjo lover, he may be willing to teach a bit of banjo... It's a bit of a long shot and probably quite expensive but asking won't cost you anything...

Of, course, a much more sensible way forward would be to ask yourself; "why on God's good green Earth would I want to learn to play this devilish contraption?", get it on ebay and get yourself an octave mandola, bouzouki, or, even, a tenor banjo and be playing within minutes.

Geta book and learn some simple tunes, it's pretty straight forward using banjo tab. When you can play a couple of known tunes you'll soon be making stuff up yourself.
