i thought blackwell was trying to trim your squad off all the 'dead-wood' - now he's signing more!

What was our leaders comment ?

"this season we are going for quality not quantity" re players:):):)

Our injury list is growing, Form is dipping and the fans are getting restless.

Mr mc Cabe get your wallet out, and Put Blackwell on a "warning" ...MUST DO BETTER!!

wonder what makes him think he's a better player to when u had him before

Oh dear. I can honestly say that, as with Cresswell, I wouldn't be too happy if Wednesday signed him. Checked his stats - since 2005 he's scored 8 goals in 65 games at Championship level, and since being released by Stoke in the summer has had unsuccessful trials at Bristol City and Blackpool.

I said it on another thread this morning, would you not be better off just paying the agent his £75k and signing Henri Camara instead?

Difference is Laws gets Netto ingredients and makes a Ramsey-style meal ... Blackwell gets Waitrose ingredients and makes a meal not even worthy of a little chef lol!

Ramsey wouldn't be too impressed i dont think.
Would be telling Laws to take off his jacket and leave Hellsbore, I mean Hells Kitchen :D

I think Jeffers may be a preferable option to Pericard - he was hardly outstanding last time he was here...

Don't know why he's bothering, he'll only play 1 up front away anyway, and then at home have Ched as a deep lying striker... around the centre circle!

If this is right I might as well take my boots down and ask for a game. What makes Blackwell think he is going to be any better than he was 4 years ago and he was crap then

I put this on another thread before I saw this one.
I've just learned that Pericard and Bradley Wright Phillips were both on 'trial' at Hillsborough pre-season, and both were rejected.
I got this from a reliable 'insider'.

I bet Blackwell was gutted to have missed out on signing Akinbiyi so Pericard is his next best option.
