Doesn't quite answer your question, but myself and my partner teach Nia and have adapted it to seated. Nia is movement/exercise that incorporates martial arts, dance arts and healing arts - it's a fusion fitness class. We teach seated Nia in Leeds at the moment, but we are based in Sheffield and are wanting to start a chair based class in Sheffield - possibly for over 50s but also possibly open to anyone wanting chair-based activities. In Leeds, we have had some funding to deliver these classes free, so we ewould be looking at a similar set up in Sheffield. If you want to PM me to let me know your area, etc, we could look at setting something up.
