I've been reading up on the story of Laika the first dog in space as my boyfriend had brought home the cartoon stroy book 'Laika' by Nick Abadzis.

I am totally amazed at what that little dog went through and it's had me sat in floods of tears :cry: They did some horrible things only for Laika to then die of heat exhaustion/stress hours into the flight. It amazes me what a fantanstic little dog it must have been to be put through the horrible things they did in training and still trust people.

It just makes me think how great dogs are :)
