I have a son aged 15, and a daughter aged 13 and they need something to do in the evenings, as they are bored silly...... For example

scouts, guides, dance class, football teams, netball, xmas pantomimes parts, voluntary work or help, just anything for them to do, does anybody have any ideas of anything happening, im willing to pay and travel.....

How about medieval re-enactment? You'll need to join too as we don't take unaccompanied kids under 16, but it's a great family atmosphere and has a lot of advantages in terms of personal development: as well as fitness and physical self-confidence if they decide to become fighters, there's a great boost to mental self-confidence from being part of a household performing in front of the public whatever role you and they decide to take. We neet every Wednesday evening at St Augustine's Church on Brocco Bank.
