I am wanting to buy my son (no really) a new games console for Xmas and cannot decide between the Xbox and the PS3.

Which is better.

xbox 360, in my case, cheaper games, ive had mine since just after they came out now and no repairs.....if you can get him the call of duty modern warfare game with the night vision goggles that are exclusive to hmv in time for xmas he will be the happiest son alive!!!!

Both are better in their own way.

Ask him what he would prefer? Or find out what the majority of his friends have. As he will no doubt want to play his friends over the net, and he can't do that if he hasn't got the same console as them.
