well you would think so woudlent you lol but nope the new girl she was a bugger for chewing, i was lucky my labrador only ever chewed 1 trainer in her entire life and that was the first day i had her as a tiny pup she never chewed again shes a great girl

if it's any consolation Moonbird, my sister once had a couple of dobie x's who as pups were left for an hour alone. She came back to find a 3 piece suite (the cane type with futon cushions) totally gutted, she had to wade through the house to find the dogs!

Little sods sometimes. I bought some to die for pink stilettos when posh was a baby, turned my back for 5 minutes and she had demolished them (they still had the price tag on!)

I think what makes it worse is that my lot are rarely left alone, you would think with 4 of them they wouldn't "need" me around wouldn't you?? but I know that is not the way that it works in reality, dogs are strange animals at times...you never hear of a guinea pig or rabbit with SA do you :hihi:

:hihi: Been there done that in plenty, Meg my oldie was the most naughty and destructive dog that I ever knew, she went through shoes, slippers, socks, pants, 3 piece suites, carpets even beds (and I mean in the plural), in the end I was reduced to re stuffing them and sewing them up as I could no longer afford to replace things, she is now 15 how the hell did I stick it for so long :hihi:.
By comparison I suppose these new dogs are Angels thank god for finding out about crates :rolleyes:

Haha no it wasn't her its the darling little black un that I kindly took from the pound as a puppy, such gratitude is over whelming really :hihi:

I heard of someone who had their lovely new leather 3 seater sofa chewed up this week, insurance man came out and said "wheres the sofa?* and she said thats it there he replied *oh I thought that was a chewed chair!" LOL

aww moonbird we have the same problem we now have sofa bed sofas so i can remove the matresses and put them out of reach when out!

Moonbird would need a lot of kits I'm guessing! My mates dog did it to a sofa, the only part left was the wooden frame, the stuffing took up the whole room! That was a little cocker spaniel that had escaped out of the kitchen when they were out.
