The Singles Night this Friday has so far confirmed numbers of 150 people and therefore will probably be in the Marstons or Millenium Suite, rather than the Tunnel Bar, due to the expected numbers expected..

Further news concerning the specific venue will be posted here by Friday.

The Singles Night is aimed at ages 30+. :)

this should be a good one as plenty of fish dating site members are having a meeting there, its a right friendly load of people not just out to "pull" but also make new friends so come along and have a good night

Plenty of fish members are of all ages over 18, so no it wont just be over 30s, there's lots of younger people signed up too!

Just head to the Tunnel bar, it probably will be upstairs, but it will still be through the same door, and there'll be door men to point you in the right direction if it's not obvious.

the ratio is about 20% looking at the people who've signed up, but more of the younger ones have just emailed me, and it tends to be the younger ones who bring mates too, so on the night I expect it to be higher...

As for foxes, I would say there are lots, but then its a subjective judgement... the only way you can know is to turn up. If you don't like it you've lost nothing as there's no entry price, and you can always walk over to the traffic light party at club hell if that's more your scene, but it'll cost you more. However, if you're more interested in meeting girls who will than in meeting ladies, then you'd probably be better off there anyway!

Thanks to all who attended Friday 2 October and for your patience when the music and you had to be moved, due to the Tunnel Bar being too full to allow everyone in. Hope to see you all again very soon. Remember the Singles Night is on every Friday and because of you all, the event looks like it will be staged in the Marstons or a larger venue rather than the Tunnel Bar in the future. :)

Well I was moving between the marston and millenium suites for most of the night as an ex work collegue was having his wedding reception in the miilenium suite (hows that for planning :hihi:)

I was surprised by the number of people there for the singles night - I was even more surprised to realise that I was in the minority by being over 40 and still having my hair :D

Anyway, everyone seemed to be having fun, and by the amount of women who pulled, I was reminded of the old Roxy on thursday nights :heyhey:

So, free admission, reasonable music policy and cheap beer - I can see this one being a winner :thumbsup:

perhaps it looked ad though there were;nt many single women because they were all chatting to men ! that does not mean they were together if you see what i mean after all the point of the evening was to talk to people

I would like to come down again so if you're going on 6th nov are you going to post, it doesn't always have to be a big organised meet for pof as its singles night in tunnel bar anyway , but it would just be easier to go knowing I would see someone I had met before. also if you didn't have the anxiety of the organising a big meet you might find it easier to relax and enjoy it more , well done on the night though :)
