Up until a few months ago i never though this would be possible. Pip always used to chase the cats as a puppy, and we eventually got to the toleration stage-but now after 2 years this makes me very happy :)

Thats lovely ! The little cat I had to have PTS four weeks ago was rescued and we had her for the GSD Ben who we had at the time . Ben adored cats and had been heartbroken when our old one died and so we went out to get another cat, for the dog !! They too had a close and happy companionship until Bens death so yes, they can be really close and good pals !

That's lovely :) We got to this stage (well almost) where Takara and Smitch would sleep on the same bed. Then we got Eddy who showed absolutely no interest whatsoever in the cats and Smitch decided all dogs (including T) were evil!

Now she won't go near them... and they say cats are smart!
