I am wanting to visit my parents in Scotland at the weekend but I am worried about leaving my cat, he's only 5 months old and used to having a lot of attention. I have friends who can pop in and feed him but i can't expect them to stay and play with him. I'm not keen on putting him in the cattery, i think he's probably too young.

Is there such a thing of a cat sitting service who actually take the cat in to their own home?

Any feedback/suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you.

There is no such service available I'm afraid as cats are very good at escaping so you can't be licensed to home board them :(

There are people like Helen and myself who do cat visits and can stay with them for a while , play with , feed and change the cat litter.

Sometimes cats are better left in their own enviroments rather than go to catteries, its also not as stressful. If you are wanting more than that we do house/pet sitting.

we have a friend who looks after our kitties when we are away, sometimes he stays, sometimes he just pops in and ours have always been fine - they are used to someone being home all day.

Hi we also cover this area and would be more than happy to look after your cat, we have references, enhanced CRB checks and are fully insured. We tailor make a package to your specific requirements so our visits can be as long or as short as you wish (we usually work in half hour blocks and cat visits are usually booked at an hour but can be longer if required). We feed, groom, play with, cuddle and clean out and refresh all litter trays etc as standard.

Please take a look at our website and contact us if you require any further information.
