A male tabby cat with a white bib and paws has been hanging around our house the last few days. (We are on Helmton Drive, inbetween Chesterfield Road and Derbyshire Lane)

It looks in a reasonable condition, if a bit thin and has no collar. I would say it is a young adult cat and seems very friendly. A neighbour keeps feeding it and it does seem hungry.

I am concerned that somebody may be missing it so have posted a picture below. If anybody can tell me where it belongs please, we lost our cat 8 weeks ago and she has never been seen since. I don't want somebody to be going through what we have, not knowing what has happened to their pet.

I remember seeing it in the area a few months ago, it had bald patches and seemed to have a skin condition. That looks to be fully healed so somebody must have treated it.

We will take it to the vet to be scanned in case it is microchipped, but wanted to post on here too, in case it isn't.

Peak vets will scan him for you , also ring Abbey lane vets to see if they have any records of him being missing, ask in shops or look at the adverts as there are quite a few around woodseats for missing cats.
He looks very friendly and cute , lets hope he finds his home.

Peak Vets is where we will be taking him if he's still around tomorrow. :)

If you need any help with any vet treatment let me know and we will always help
He may need a flea treatment or maybe a wormer, but the vet will know what

bless him
If you end up keeping and trying to rehome him, send a pic and write up through and we will put it on our new site when published.

What's the latest Jambo?

We haven't seen the cat since Sunday unfortunately.

It sometimes goes into our neighbour's house, so we will ask her if we can take him to the vets the next time we see her.

Just a quick update.

He was hanging around our house again this afternoon, so we took him down to Peak Vets. Unfortunately he isn't chipped.

We don't know if he is actually a stray or not. His fur looks in good condition and everything, although he is a bit on the thin side.
