'Now That's What I Call Music' vol 61 is on current release, does anybody have the first 60?

if not, how many do you have?

I think my sister got custody of our original ones :( We stopped buying them in the late eighties/early ninetees when they got a bit 'specialised' and their sales tailed off....

I think i have got 35 - 40 on cassette and then up to 45 on CD. Then I became too cool for pop music :)

Yup, but funnily enough, I don't think my sister has a turntable to play them on :P (I do)

I remember my friends parents having really early ones (i think they had 1-15 or something like that) and being amazed. I only own three, Now 24, 26 and 27 - full of mid 90's classics. :D

Chris.

Thanx for your replies. I don't actually want them, heaven forbid I am an old greabo, but just wondered if anybody had collected the lot.

I've still got Vols 1 to 3, and even though I went off them rapidly when I was a teenager (being too cool for school and all that kind of thing) I wish I had them all now! I've been trying to gather some of the old pop from the 80s/90s for my mp3 player - makes a change from all the 'challenging' stuff I usually listen to. ;)

The fact that you could have something truly weird and fantastic next to something dreadful was always a good point in their favour. But they never had any Madonna or Jacko songs on them!

Me too - buy it, sell it, love it!

Did the dj'ing for my wifes birthday last year and needed a shedload of popular 80's/90's songs double quick time. Took ages transferring to CD though.

Bargain for what I paid though.
