Drums: Neil Peart
Bass: Paul Mcartney (mainly so he could write some songs)
Rythm Guitar: James Hetfield
Lead Guitar: Paul Gilbert
Keyboards: JS Bach
Vocals: Paul Simon (mainly so that he could write the lyrics)
Two of the greatest virtuoso's of all time combined with the greatest melody maker and the greatest lyricist respectively of all time. Plus a monster rythm section in the form of Hetfield and Peart. I think that would take a fair bit of beating.
