Does anyone know what has gone off in Musgrave road in Shirecliffe this morning? We have had police lurking in car parks for hours on end and they seemed to be having a bit of a convention in that particular road about an hour or so ago.

Ive seen loads too in Shirecliffe, they are stood outside a house now on Musgrave road. Saw 2 vans full of police earlier on firshill crescent. Whats going on round Shirecliffe???

Yeah i saw the police vans too, looked rather like they were trying to break the 'how many coppers can you fit in a battered old vehicle' world record.
They were all proper tooled up too.....

there were 6+ police cars at the TA centre Meadowhead last night at around 16:30. I wonder if these groups have always been around and we are now more sensitive to this activity or if the activity has indeed increased to such a level that we are now seeing it every day? It may be the same phenomenon as happened with dog attacks some years ago, I'm sure they too were always around but then became flavour of the month with the press and hence very high profile.
