There will be two play readings at the Lantern Theatre for the Dilys Guite Players production of Players Angels by Amanda Whittington.
This is the first ever amateur production of Players Angels!
Players Angels is not published and has only been performed professionally before, so here is your chance to be a part of history! :)
Reading Dates:
Monday September 28th at 7-30pm
Sunday 0ctober 4th at 2-30pm
Cast:
1 female (40`s)
3 females (20`s)
1 male 20`s -30`s
Rehearsal Start:
Week commencing 26th October 2009
Performance dates:
14th - 19th December 2009
Synopsis:
Set in 1953, just before the coronation, it tells the story of a group of women who work at the Players cigarette factory and their lives and loves. Amanda Whittington wrote Be My Baby and Ladies Day which both went down very well at the Lantern.
The readings are open to all, members and non-members alike. If you have a hankering to act and would like a go at reading please come along.
