Hi all,

If anyone has any good Hen do ideas I'd appreciate suggestions! We're thinking of burlesque dancing or something similar in the evening but that's not really ideal for my future mother-in-law or for my teenage bridesmaids so day ideas in particular would be appreciated!

I'm not interested in spa days and am not sure what else there is around sheffield. We're happy to travel a bit.

Thanks!

Suppose it depends on how much you want to spend but have you thought about Xscape at Castleford for indoor ski-ing or snow-boarding? I quite fancy tank driving or go-karting.

Diggerland appeals to me for mine :partyhat:

I think it's in (or near) Castleford

Oh wow!

I came to see the Velvet Burlesque show at the Penistone Paramount and was really really impressed - to the point where I wanted to join :)

Do you still have classes?

I'd love to bob along...

Why not stay somwhere for the weekend? I like the look of Ribby Hall, it's like a posh Center Parcs with pool, activities and you could then have a night out in Blackpool in the evening to do the obligatory tacky hen night!

Hi there, I don't know if this appeals, but I offer jeweller-making hen nights - so you learn a new skill and get to keep the jewellery you make? I'm a glass bead maker, and could create beads especially for your hen night. If you are interested, details are on my website :)

it depends how many of you there are. We went out for a really expensive posh meal and hired out the whole room exclusively. I wish I hadn't been going through a wierd vegitarian phase at the time coz the venisen steaks looked amazing.

I want to do chocolate tasting as part of my hen do as am totally obsessed with chocolate hehe! I think both Cocoa and Chocadores (both on Eccy Rd) do this and am looking into other places too, will post if I find anywhere else.
