I love the casbah. It has its critics but its very easy going, and has different music upstairs and downstairs.

Gets very hot and sweaty though at times!

depending on what youre looking for,

I'm quite partial to the Cavendish or Swim Inn if I'm around west street, swim inn is a lot quieter, nice place, not too dear.
Cavendish is hugely loud and bustly

club wise, sheffields clubs are mostly not too good
I tend to look out for single nights on (dub central, zogg, d&B arena, etc.)

Depending on what ur looking for, i'd say Frog&Parrot or Fat Cat for nice bitters, and maybe leadmill afterwards, though i'm no expert on clubs.. Enjoy!

The Washington is a nice friendly pub and has different alternative music nights on.For Instance there is a new night called plan b on the 4th august playing punk-new wave-soul-funk & ska etc.

Just Got back from Sheffield, had a great time. Thanks for all your help. The Leadmill was fantastic Friday night, best Club ever been to. Does anyone know who the DJ was? Awesome tunes.
