Hi all!

I am writing a feature for a knitting magazine about people who've knitted for animals. Whether it's toys, blankets, coats, collars or anything else, I'd love to hear your stories! And in return I can send you a copy of the magazine when it's published.

If you knit for a cat or dog home, it's a great way of making other knitters around the country aware of the organistation too.

I'd love to hear from you, so post your stories on this thread, or email me at charlie@cross-stitching.com

Hi Charlie

I help run www.k9knitters.co.uk - a nationwide network of knitters who make dog coats (and other doggie couture) which raises funds for various Dog Rescue Charities. We've raised over £13,000 since we started in 2006. Happy for you to give us a plug in your article. Will email you some fun facts that other journos have found useful in previous features.

Cheers, Carrie

Hi Seadog. We regularly send batches of dog coats to rescues - for use by their residents, or for fundraising purposes. If you PM me with details of Sheffield based charities who would welcome a donation, I'll add them to the list!

Cheers, Carrie
