Why do people do it??
i got a call of a couple wanting some chickens and possible ducks they came round and looked at them they were interested in two mini buff chicks and wanted me to hatch them some runner ducks but needed to build a run for them. they said they could have them at the weekend and to call me in the week to set a time etc...
no call so i called the number back and the number is no longer in use.....
why cant people just say they had changed their minds....... gets me so mad
now i have two chicks that i need to sell asap as my new hatch is due on the 14th. i cant keep them at the farm as they are too small and will get eaten by mycats or a fox (they were given to me as eggs from a brooder hen that had died and didnt think they would hatch)

so if anyone wants to buy two lovley very tame 12 week old chicks buff Orpington 20 pounds for pair believed to be 1 male 1 female but im thinking its poss 2 females please get in touch needing to go by 14h sep :(

(dont know how to add photo)

is there any way you can tell if they are both female?? If they were I would take them. Send me a messagexx (would then mean I would only need another 2 though I think from your next lot. I will be out for the rest of the day at the childrens hospital but send me a message if you like

Its really rotten for someone to do that to you and leave you in the lurch, I had a look on google what the chicks are and they are gorgeous hens, I hope that you soon find them a good home :)

Your ducks are lovely!!

Are they easy to keep? how much does it cost to keep them and how do you keep them?

When I get a house with a nice big garden I'd love a duck pond with Aylesbury's in..lovely little quackers.
