The best wish to make when offered a finite number of wishes is simply "I wish for inifinite wishes". That way, you never use them up, and the wish has to be granted.

My first wish, without even thinking twice about it, would be to enable a certain board game player, who play on a Sunday evening with Stuart and I, to get his brain into gear and take his turn within 5 seconds instead of, on average, 5 minutes per turn.

I don't think I need the other two wishes, that one wish will do.
However, it may come in handy should this said player start turning up late too.

it was my attempt at toaist humor ... everything comes out of nothing (including people) ... people are manifestations of the nothingness ... and wishing ... is perhaps the process of making something out of nothing ...

I know Jamie, so was I - but I was 'doing' a Chuang-Tzu rather than a Lau.

What I like about Chuang is that he seemed to see the World as some kind of Cosmic Joke - which, by the way, he would have very little to do with.:)

1. Well number 3 of Phan's sounds good to me - good idea to make it Sativa as well, if it was Indica I'd never get off my arse.
