Korfball is a fun, mixed sex, team sport with similarities to netball and basketball. It’s a fun way of exercising and a great way to meet new friends. Snakebite are a Sheffield based korfball team and are inviting YOU to join us.

We are having a special beginners training session to mark the start of the new season. We are a sociable bunch and there will be lots of people on hand to help you get to grips with the sport, as well as lots of other beginners who will be trying it for the first time. This session is a great way to find out what the sport's all about and meet the team.

This session is free and you are under no obligation.

No previous korfball/sports experience is necessary, all we require is that you show a bit of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. So grab those old trainers and a bottle of water, and come and see what it’s all about!

Date: Monday 21st September 2009
Time: 7.30 – 9pm
Venue: Handsworth Grange School Sports Hall, Handsworth Grange Road, S13 9HJ
Facebook Event: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/event.php?eid=144060166984&index=1

- We train from September through until May ish (with a bit of a Christmas break) but after May there are a number of Summer tournaments that we always take teams too and are always great fun!!
