I will be off for my lunch break shortly. Just wondering in this day and age, how long do you have for your lunch break? And how do you spend it?

1 hour- surfing the net or going into town for a pint :)

I usually get about half an hour to an hour, depending on how much I have to do. It's hard to tell really since most of the time I just have lunch in the office, and end up multi-tasking whilst eating my sandwiches anyway :)

I will be going for mine in about 10 mins. I usually take an hour and ensure that I get out and away from work. Sandwich followed by a pint and a read of my book is the norm. If it's sunny then I go somewhere to sunbathe. Lovely!

I really should do that, I'm sure I'd feel a lot less stressed by 3pm :P :clap: *looks out of window at grey, manky sky* ...Maybe not today though :P

It does relax me to forget everything for an hour. Makes the day feel less stressful. :)

I love them because I am lucky enough to live close enough to go home for the hour, so I get lunch with Mr Kooky every day and we get to have a chat (he's normally asleep when I leave in the morning). Like Andy78, I always ensure I get away from work for lunch, it makes me feel better to get some fresh air.

When I get to take them I do. For the last God knows how long I keep muddling through the day promising myself a drive out to the farm shop or a walk about the compound ....... never happens, work always wins. Bah!

I get the shortest 1/2 hour of the day ! :gag:

between 1/2 hr and 2 1/2 hrs dependent on how long I want. always 1/2 hr (unless a pub lunch) as my flexi needs to be maintained and I aint staying late.

I like to walk my dog :)

We went to the butty shop today. He sat outside and wagged his tail at anybody he thought might have food :roll:

I'm 6th though we've just finished for the summer we only get 50 mins which is crap really for a school, should get at least an hour. There is a group of us and one of us has just passed his test so we normally go on a food search, driving about trying to find a sandwich shop. We've found some decnet little builders cafes. Although some days we have a decent game of football, o what a hard life!!!!!
