i need some help planning mini sav's first birthday... its not till november but since i start a new job soon, i will be very busy and probably not have time to arrange something...

so good people of sheffield forum please can i have some ideas which are not so expensive i will have to remortgage to pay for it!
oh its on a sunday but would probbly hold it on the saturday

find a park, get all your friends together and have a thing like a school race day and use the parents for this, you know egg and spooon race, three legged race, sack race etc. its fun and its free ish!!! and you can have a picnic afterwards.

10 to 15 quid max if you do your own food.

Sounds like our sunday meet :D

The last 1st birthday we went to wasn't over-themed. The kids at that age were a little bewildered at the celebrations, but you're never too young for jelly and ice-cream, birthday cake, and pass the parcel :clap:

Steer clear of the silly hats - there were some elastic accidents :suspect:

Picnics are probably out for November, but how about any venue with a ball pool?

Is it possible to hire the graves park pavillion? don't they have tots' play facilities?

If its a first birthday party use it as a chance for you to celebrate because every birthday after the kids will know whats happening. Just give them all a party hat and have a bbq and few beers o and give them some bubble wrap kids are easily pleased!!!!!!! At least when there young they are
