Hi Guys
Can anyone offer any advice to a non IT person as to the best way to download programmes from BBC i player to the Sony Walkman X series.
I have tried to use Window Media player (Windows Vista system), and it will not allow me to drag any i player content to the Walkman sync.
Many Thanks

You can't legally do it - DRM

thanks guys
got told in the shop that the function will allow downloaded content from bbc i player onto the walkman.
Even on the bbc site there is a download tab for portable devices, but am now concerned this is only for other sony players and not the x series walkman.

This will probably explain:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcinternet/2008/10/bbc_iplayer_goes_portable.html

'What ... these devices have in common is that they support Windows Media Protected playback - that is, they support Windows DRM for portable devices, which allows us to make our programmes available for download on them.'

Mac users may be interested in the 'Beeb Downloader' App which should let you download content to play back on your iphone/ipod touch.
