is there any way to stop them BLOODY DAMN annoying adverts at bottom of your msn contacts list that open every time you roll ur mouse over em
tried looking in tools/options but maybe i'm missing summat ...... quick someone tell me how to stop em before the lot goes thro the window
there is no option to remove it, thats how windows live makes its money...through the adverts, i think there are patches etc on the net that can remove em but not sure where to find em, have a google ;)

Use a third party client like one of these:

Another alternative is Trillian Astra (http://www.trillian.im/) - a multi-protocol client with, as far as I know, no advertising. (Then again I've only seen the pre-Astra version and don't use it as I use a Mac and so, naturally, the rather fabulous Adium (http://adium.im/).) Just beware that not all features may be supported in that.

Brilliant little proggy.
