Happy Birthday To Wednesday!

It's a special day today, with our beloved Wednesday celebrating its 142nd birthday today, Friday September 4.

It's the first birthday the club celebrates with Lee Strafford as its chairman, and the Wednesdayite will be hoping that he can rekindle some of the magic that helped create the great name of the Owls over those last 142 years during his time at the helm.

Formed in 1867, Wednesday have enjoyed a rich history since growing as a cricket club, 'The Wednesday', and has gone on to bag numerous league titles and cup successes.

So all at Vital wish Wednesday a very Happy Birthday!
