Hiya - posted this in the wrong forum - whoops...
Does anyone have any experience of these parties? My daughter LOVES Ponds Forge and I think a party in the leisure pool would be great but
i)I can't swim - does an adult have to go in with them?
ii) Is it worth it? It's a minimum of price of £119 for 10 kids
iii)Do they eat afterwards? Where do they have the party bit?
Any help or advice or any other ideas very much appreciated..
God I hate arranging parties.

Hi
My daughter went to a party there but it is a few years ago so it could have changed since.
I think if the kids are under 8 an adult has to go in with them but I would check with Ponds Forge on this.
They had a meal afterwards in the cafe upstairs I think it was the usual choice of Burger/Chicken Nuggets and chips.
As for the price I think its a little expensive but then most places that do parties seem to charge a fortune these days.
I've had a party at Ponds for my daughter 6 months ago and it went really well, stress free actaully. We had a pool party also. Here goes;
i) If your child is aged 7 and under then they must be accommpanied by an adult in the water. Any adults attending with 2 children under 7 years of age are restricted to the baby pool but there is enough in there to keep 2 kids entertained for 30 or so mins.
ii) I felt it was worth it - no issues with sorting parking round the house, blowing up balloons, buying food or tidying up afterwards. I just enjoyed the time with my daughter.
iii) They got to eat in a separate room upstairs in the cafe area, so they could make some noise without disturbing others. It had colourful rollerblinds on the wall so it felt 'right'. It was a good sized room with just enough space for the kids to wander but not enable then to sneak past you to the door.
I'd always receommend a party anywhere other then home... and Ponds Forge satisfied my requirements.
