View Full Version : Nana Moon is not long for this world...
Kristian 24-07-2005, 04:31 According to Digital Spy, Nana Moon is to be killed off from Eastenders in December. I think it's really sad; who next? Blanche Hunt from Coronation Street? :o

Well if you gotta go you gotta go
:P
Kristian 24-07-2005, 04:42 Nana ought to be sent away to live with relatives; killing her off is just too horrid, and at Christmastime too!

Perhaps kids shouldn't be watching eastenders at all.
That slapper (Kat, I think) has a scowl that will give kids nightmares.

I don't think i can cope if they kill off nana moon. I have been getting the feeling for a while that they were leading up to her dying, esp when they were all singing in the vic the other week, brought a tear to my eye

Maybe we should start a petition Nicole? ;)
You are talking about eastenders come on now.And if my mind serves me right they never put a happy episode on at christmas.Someone is always dieing in at this time.
But even tho i liked (i say i liked as i no longer watch this program) nana moon i do not think her just leaving will solve it if they do not want her back into the show.As somewere down the line the old dear as to die sometime and then have to write a funeral. So i think this solves stopping the story dragg for anouther + years. That what stop me watching it in the first place the story lines dragging on to long.
Kristian 24-07-2005, 12:57 There's enough pain and suffering in the real world without them killing off cute old ladies in primetime drama.
 Save Nana Moon!
i hear she dies in the throws of passion with billy mitchell :o
or maybe not.
Kristian 28-07-2005, 22:22 This is no time for jokes MTheo, Nana's life is at stake! :o Poor Nana! :(
Ousetunes 29-07-2005, 07:33 I'm all for killing off characters in Miseryenders.
A nuclear bomb on Albert Square would be super and hopefully this would have a knock-on effect with the writers of Emmerdale, Coronary Street and Hollyoaks (aka Grange Hill with lip-stick [why isn't this junk shown at 4pm with the other kiddies' cartoons?]) all deciding to bomb their shows?
You could have Kat strolling into Walford Tube Station with a rucksack on her back.
'Wassup Alfie, does my bomb look big in this?'

Did you hear about the Romeo and Juliet death scene with Demi and her boyfriend. I think that will be a fab storyline.....
Kristian 07-11-2005, 14:46 Well, according to Digital Spy (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds25992.html), poor old Nana kicks the bucket on Christmas Day.
Do the producers really think that the British public want to see this while tucking into turkey and sipping a dry sherry? I for one don't
Poor old Nana. It's an outrage!
I'm sorry but I would have killed Nana Moon off ages ago she really get's on my nerves the silly wittering old woman!!
Nowadays old people are a lot more feisty - I know I am!!

RIP Nana Moon :(
aaaaaaahhhh Nana Moon,,,:(
Rest in Peace...
will miss the 'oh Alfie darling'.......... x
You lot do know it's only the character that's died and not the person who plays her right?
I don't watch Eastenders myself, too depressing and false.. Soaps are supposed to represent real life, and even I acknowledge that life in East London isn't really how it's portrayed on 'Enders... And I dislike Londoners, cos most of the ones I've ever met are ignorant cock jockeys who hate anything and everybody that resides North of the Watford Gap services.
TheBlueDragon 16-12-2005, 20:09 What you mean by its not the realy person who has died?
you trying to say nana moon was a fake?

barnie41 16-12-2005, 20:57 Who is nana Moon - any relation to button moon?????
pk014b7161 16-12-2005, 20:58 no but since hearing the news im over the moon:thumbsup:
And they killed off Betty Tucker in The Archers last night too. It must be catching...
Plain Talker 17-12-2005, 20:05 I don't watch EE very often, at all, (I dislike soaps, generally) but I caught last night's episode.
I thought it was very moving, especially alfie's reaction in realising nana'd "gone".
(but i still keep expecting her to come out with an
"Auuwww, Foxie!" lol)

stars_gazing 17-12-2005, 20:26 Nana Mooooooooooooooooooon!!!
Why couldn' t they have killed off the people who have *clearly* outstayed their welcome??
- The Allens
- Juley Smith
- Jim "Brannin"
- Pauline
- That guy she's seeing :gag:
- Sonia / Martin / Her friend who can't act
- THE MILLERS
To name a few!...
Nana moon, you were a victim of management's bid to boost ratings  we'll miss you!

Kristian 18-12-2005, 01:32 Well, did anyone see Eastenders last night? I watched it today and I was an absolute emotional wreck. Poor old Alfie, my heart really went out to him (yes, I know it's not real!) :D

Alfie and Nana were on their own in the lounge talking and looking at a dancing snowman that Jake had bought for Nana (she'd kept mentioning she wanted one).
As they were watching it, the batteries died, and the snowman stopped dancing. Alfie got up to look at it and said it needed new batteries, and when he moved out of the way, we could see Nana slumped over on the sofa.
Alfie realised she had died, but kept saying 'Not yet, just a bit longer' etc. to her.
I know it sounds cheesy, but it really upset me. My own Gran died around this time a few years ago, so maybe it was just a little bit close to home.

Oh my, oh my!
I have just been sat on my own in the living room watching the omnibus and crying my eyes out.
Kristian, I lost my grandma earlier this year. She was an absolute pet, just like Nana Moon.
The last time I saw her at home (before she went downhill badly and was in hospital), she wouldn't let me leave until she gave me a special big hug and held both my hands and told me she had always loved me so much. I remember she was talking about it in the past tense. She asked me if I knew that, I said I did, but was in a rush so I didn't linger... she knew, that would be the last time she got to say it.
Gosh, I'm a wreck now. I need to go and have a cup of tea I think.
did they play some music towards the end like they do for the emotional episodes ?
spyro2000 18-12-2005, 15:17 Has she died now then? If not why not.
Yep, she's dead.
(They played the Eastenders Theme on light piano)

Oh right, I was watchin the Omnibus, but turned it over to watch Arsenal vs Chelski.
Im glad the characters gone though myself. Im quite liking the Julie storyline at the moment.
