Basically, as title.

We have Minnie, our approx 6 year old female. Very big fluffy, sleepy and loving cat. She doesn't like much play, much prefers our bed, day and night. If we didnt make her go out to do her business, she'd be happier doing it in the bathroom (as on many occasions...) but we do want another cat, possibly another 12 but thats just me :hihi:

We're after some tips on how you'd introduce her to another cat. We rescued a kitten a few months back, she just attacked her. We had the kitten a little over a week but we couldnt go out incase they somehow killed each other. Hence kitten ended up at my sisters, and is having a happy, terror free life!

Minnie has lived with other cats before she came to us. 4 others at one point. So we know she is okay with cats.

We'd obviously look into getting an 'older' cat, something around 6 years+ so it wouldnt be as lively as a kitten, but we dont want to give a cat a new home for us have to rehome it because she wont take to it!

We had our then indoor rabbits when she first came here, and she was fine with them. She'd sit and watch them playing together, she even once attempted to join in :hihi: rabbits looked disgusted with her!

We so badly want to give a cat a home, so any advice on introducing them would be greatful. We're also getting some guinea pigs, when our rabbits have been spayed, so thats the first on our list before rehoming a cat. But we'd like to know in advance..

Thanks everyone for any replies, Gina + Craig
