Just wondered if other people feel like that? Sems to me that the weeks and months go by and nothing much happens and before you know it you are on to the next year.

Tell me about it. I sometimes feel that im doing nothing with my life, even though I am actually doing something with my life. It seems that Im not getting anywhere and its all for nothing.

To be honest yes life is passing me by :( please someone shoot me..............yes every day is like suday

At the minute i'm setting up sh**** machinery in a dead end job. Yes... I do feel like life is passing me by. I get to work on Monday and start wishing for Friday. Then the months fly by and soon enough it'll be Christmas. Another year gone and nothing to show for it.
I'm wishing the weeks away and i already know i'll regret it. One day, when i'm an old man, i'll look in the mirror and wish i had all these weeks back!

That's why i'm going from having a definite set wage every month, to going self employed and not having a set wage every month.
It sounds dull but the only job i've ever had that i really enjoyed was Joinery. So that is what i'm going to attempt to get back in to.

If you ask me....... If you feel like this it's only you that's going to do something about it. Find what's missing and set about putting it right!

Whereas tonight has gone woooshing by far too quickly. I mean, look at the time for goodness sake!

(Have to say that I got a laugh reading this thread, so as far as I'm concerned that was time well spent).

Time well wasted; I like that! Maybe that should be the Forum's subheading! :D

How can time be passing you by? If that was the case then would it not be true that you are getting no older as you are watching time go by and to do that you need to have a perspective outside of time and therefore not be a part of it?

Sorry - was tongue in cheek. I have been overdosing on Terry Pratchetts discworld books again.

I am unaware of 'time passing me by'. Much too busy and when I'm not rushing around like a blue bottomed fly, my mind works overtime. There sometimes just do not seem to be enough hours in the day.

Maybe we will go decimal and have a twenty hour clock?
