Anyone know how to get a facebook URL?

Like in the format of www.facebook.com/<businessname>

its on account settings

Facebook have been deleting "non-human" accounts (normal accounts set up for businesses) in favour of fan pages and groups (fan pages make more sense for businesses - and allow for targeted marketing).

However, currently fan pages need a lot of fans in order to gain a vanity url.

Would that be classed as a fan page or a normal account? (it's an independent game dev, using facebook for marketing their games).

I'd recommend a fan page, but they won't be able to get a vanity url (yet - facebook did say they'd roll them out early next year for smaller pages).

Is the term vanity URL, something that's specific to facebook, or a general term relating to this kind of thing (with various social networking sites etc)?
