A weed is any plant that is growing in the wrong place.
I don't have any I'm afraid, and would warn anyone who wants to plant it of how invasive it can become. It can become quite a nuisance to your neighbours too, as I was forever pulling it up as it 'escaped' from my old neighbours' garden.
Having said that, I have seen it use to great effect in place of grass (although not used where people walk) and in a hanging basket 'ball'
thanks for that Haley,im knew to all this gardening stuff. Its just that i saw it in hot house once and thought how nice it looked. So will propably not use it now.
Thanks for your time.
it depends how you use it. if it's going to be contained, and you keep a check on it, it'll be fine
My mum's got loads - she got a handful from someone's garden and now it's EVERYWHERE! If you still want some I'll grab a bit next time I visit (which may not be for a while...)

Thanks Becky, but had a re,think after reading on the internet about it.
Thanks for your offer anyway.
Thai - what kind of plant are you after, maybe we can come up with some alternatives?

Hi, just joined this forum to post you a reply to your thread - I only know of one source that supplies this plant at that is victoriananursery.co.uk (sorry I couldn't post you the link to the actual page - this site has just told me I can't add a link until I have made at least 5 posts )
There might be some other nurseries that sell it but I haven't come across any yet, and this is online so easily accessible to anyone with internet. They sell it in three different shades too.
It is an online nursery that specialises in old fashioned plants that are often no longer sold commercially, I love mind your own business and will be getting some myself soon. My mum always had it in her garden and I remember her having trouble finding it, and that was 25 years ago!
Hope this helps :)
