Just had to say this, we went there tonight, been meaning to go for ages, after having it reccomended on here to us.

Well it was so gorgeous!

Lovley clean interior, tasty, reasonably priced food!

Could not fault it at all! We had chicken satay and kung po chiken! Lovley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know and they deliver, all lovely fresh stuff and reasonable prices!

Am I missing something - I thought Wild Rice was a Thai/Chinese take away on London Road? Well the one next to our house is anyway :)

There's only one Wild Rice and it's on London Road, in between WasabiSabi and mao - which happens to be owned by the same people.

Shame they don't deliver to London!

I have to disagree. I ordered a Thai Green Curry from Wild Rice and it was awful.. not even vaguely related to a thai green curry.

The sauce was nasty and the chicken seemed like it had been pumped full of water and was inedible.

I've had excellent thai green curry in several resteraunts in Sheffield, the authentic thing in Thailand and I cook it myself from scratch at home.. its not hard to make so how Wild Rice can get it sooooo wrong I don't know!

Maybe they're good on chinese dishes but poor on Thai?

I cant wait to go again! Not very good for the diet though!! Although slightly healthier than a curry!!

Anne 23 I'm totally with you on that, we too ordered chicken thai green curry and it was terrible, chicken was slimy and did not resemble any chicken that I have every seen before I even throw the menu away so that I don't forget how terrible it is and order again one day!

I think its the best Chinese ever!!
Its the only Chinese take away i've eaten where they dont add any MSG to their dishes.
MSG is evil and makes me sick!
The special fried noodles are tremendous!! x

Been going to Wild Rice on London Road on a regular basis for the past 2 months now and its fab! Their Chicken Thai Green Curry is highly recommended... my complements to its chef!

Its nice and friendly counter and delivery staff makes it an ideal example for other takeaways to follow. Also tried Red Lion and Wai Hong on London Road but their quality of food and service don't even compare to the high standards of Wild Rice!

i love wild rice! they say- 'it will be with you in 30 -45 minutes'.. and 15 minutes later they knock on my door haha. The food is delicious. I recommend the crispy chicken in szechuan sauce.

Wild Rice is great! And they don't put MSG in the food so you can sleep after eating it!

I have to agree with the people who haven't enjoyed wild rice's thai food. I have had the green curry and the khao pad from wild rice and it has been average at best. Their Chinese food however is a-ma-zing! I always have the crispy beef in szechuan sauce when I eat from there. I kick myself for not being adventurous but it tastes soooo good I just cant say no to it!

For a top take away try Top Chef on Bradway Road,top stuff.
