I'm trying to get ideas of how much shops might cost to rent. Do you know of good estate agents that deal with shop lettings, or preferably websites that I can have a look at?

What area are you looking for and what sort of stuff do you want to do. Retail, food ect.

Thinking small retail - roughly the size of the old Forever Changes record shop in Eccy Road for lack of exact measurements :)

Nothing needed as far as kitchens etc, just selling space. Just want to get an idea of prices - area doesnt matter at the moment because i'm interested in how price varies from area to area.

I think for Abbeydale Rd as a comparison I'd work on the basis of around £600 pcm for a single shop front.

Thats about right if you go through an agency. Go and knock on the door of the flat above and see if you can get the owners name. they may be interested in doing a private deal rather than give money to an agency.
