Oh no! bet you were miffed when that happened! Just before we left to come home my batteries died but then I've just counted an I took over 200 photo's in all!!! lol.
I had a spare but still gutted ill miss my 70-300:( I hope it can be repaired the focus mechanism has failed.I was at the other side of the man with the old (fake) camera,My ears were ringing after the cannons lol maybe it was the shockwaves that killed my lens :hihi:
A slideshow with some of the pictures I took on Sunday:

Snagglepuss 01-09-2009, 10:19 Loved your slideshow Karl101, Lovely crisp photos!
WarPig, hubby said I should have taken my tripod - lol can you imagine the damage done by the cannon fire if I had! the ground absolutely rocked with the force!!!!!
Yes, the bangs were impressive.
I wasnt quick enough to snap the Red Arows, but I did manage to get this photo of three wanna-be pilots assuming an arrow head formation. Red Two on the right is slightly ahead of the ideal position, but still, a sterling effort...

Snagglepuss 01-09-2009, 21:23 Lol that is a crackin formation there!!!! I too was unable to catch the real Arrows, they were too fast for me!!!!
hockeybear 01-09-2009, 22:36 I heard the announcer say "here are the red arrows" so I swung the camera round and started snapping as I followed them, the photo after this one has a womans hair in the frame as I hit her on the head with the lens, sorry lady

Didn't have a load of time and this is not really my normal photography thing (mainly landscapes) so just got as many as i could and hoped for the best :) picked out the best 10% and stuck on flickr
