We are off out tonight and are looking for a change of scenery... We fancy a nice steak, anybody got any recomendations?

We usually eat at The Barrel (Highest Pub in Derbyshire) or The Wagon and Horses on Abbeydale Road South. We used to eat at the Cross Sythes on the way out of Sheffield on Abbeydale Road South again... they did the best steaks ever until they stopped the restaraunt side of things...

So, anybody got any good recomendations?

Probably too late to answer now.... if you want pubs with decent food that include steak on the menu on that side of town I would probably suggest the Cricket Inn at Totley or the Bradway in Bradway. Bradway only has one steak option though, which changes each week, so suggest phoning ahead.

Not much point in replying now as its too late, but Damon's do a lovely steak, up near crystal peaks!
