It's taken nearly a year from it's US debut, but ABC's 'Lost' is finally about to hit our screens in the UK. I've had a sneaky peak at some of the storylines for the first 24 episodes and it's simply not to be missed.

Set on a tropical island after a plane crash, the show deals with the gradual realisation among the 40 - odd survivors that things are not quite as they seem.

Were they brought down by a terrorist?

What are the strange noises coming from the jungle?

Why does one survivor sit alone, way down the beach?

These are just some of the questions you'll be asking yourself as the world of LOST gradually unfolds.

With the wierdness of 'Twin Peaks' and the heart-stopping tension of '24', 'Lost' is a guaranteed hit-in-waiting for Channel 4

Don't miss it!

I'd seen the ads, and wondered what it was all about; might give it a go. Need something to watch until Desperate Housewives comes back to our screens!

The mere fact that Portishead is the music behind the adtertising of this show is enough for me to watch it.

I've watched the entire first series of this and it is simply one of the best TV series ever made. I have been telling everybody not to miss this too.

Channel 4 have been playing their cards quite close to their chest on the exact transmission dates for Lost. But I would guess there will be a date added to the teasers they have been showing within the next week or so.

When it does come out there are 24 episodes in season 1, all aprox 45mins long but stretched to an hour for commercials. The first is a two-parter called "Pilot" which may end up being joined together.

P.S: I've now had a sneaky peak at some of season 2. And if you think you've worked it all out, trust me, you're very very wrong indeed! :heyhey:
