i need a gearbox 6 speed for laguna 02 1.9 dci/ or could i just have the first gear replaced when i take the box off, first gear is very noisey and whiny although rest of gears are good. another problem aswell, when driving it seems a bit sluggish and on dash i have 2 lights.looks like glow plug light and the other is something to do with an injection fault according to the hand book .both in same place one under the other. i know lagunas have faults but can anyone help without taking it to dealers to have the fault diagnsed. i have just bought the car like it///// i know i can pickup a box and fit it but when it comes to lights on dash and lacking power i;m no good.
know renault are very pricey /so if anyone can help or had same problem pls let me know:huh::huh:

Any decent garage nowadays will have diagnostic equipment not just the main dealer. The light alone doesn't tell us enough. As an example my vw diag unit lists 1500 potential fault codes.

Thought u was a mechanic!!

the EGR valve is a common fail, it takes the turbo out and can leve the car running on it's own engine oil. the lights on the dash are engine management (STOP) lights, the turbo sounds dead. have you been running it for long like this?
