The Blue Moon Cafe (next to the cathedral in town) and, I think, Kumquat Mae (London Road? Might be Abbeydale Road) both have vegan food on their menus. Both cater mainly for vegetarians, though, and I've never been to the latter so haven't had chance to check their menu out. The Fat Cat pub next to Kelham Island has a menu that's always changing - they always have a vegetarian choice and I wouldn't be surprised if this was sometimes vegan. They state on their menu that they're happy making food to people's requirements (gluten free etc.) so might be willing to make something vegan even if it's not on the menu. Both the Blue Moon and the Fat Cat are good value.

Kumquat Mae do the most gorgeous range of Vegan food......... perfect for any special occassion. But take your own wine, as they dont have a licence.

We rarely go without ordering huge amounts of courses, 2 starters each, one main course and a pud,.... not cos the potions are small, they certainly are not........ but I can never make up my mind which I want ;-)

And I can say that without any shame whatsoever.........cos Im a greedy Vegan ;-D

I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but I can also highly recommend Kumquat Mae on Abbeydale road, japanese food is one of their specialities too. Great Stuff.

What kind of price is Kumquat Mae? We are both students so can't really afford anything too pricey... sounds delicious, though!

Also I heard there was a vegan cafe near St Paul's Hotel near the Millenium gardens... does anyone know if this is still there?

It's closed now, sadly as it was fantastic.

I've replied on your other thread also, I recomend you try The Bohemian.

Hi
I think the Bohemian on Chesterfield Road does vegan choices but is not only vegan. That's the closest I can get
