Can anyone help??? i keep personal work on Microsoft word and it says theres an insertion. The writing has changed from black to red and there is a thin line that runs vertically on left hand side of the page... Its been like ths for a few months now and i dont know how to change this. If i " undo insertion" it will delete all my work and i dont want to do that. help would really be gratefully accepted

It will either be something to do with

> View > Markup

or

> Tools > Track Changes


See if either/both of these menu options have been selected.
Try unselecting and see what happens.
