Moving to Sheffield and will be renting - few properties have come up in Grenoside - where is it and what is it like?

Grenoside is a nice part of sheffield, i live at parson cross only a 5min walk from grenoside, and i love the area, spend many a day walking in the woods, one or two (or 3 or 4) (burp!!) nice pubs, not too moden or old, got a few mates that live in the area and they wouldnt live anywhere else... if i had the chance id move there, but i suppose it can be like anywhere the idiots will be there somewhere... but on the whole its a good place!:thumbsup:

I agree with madowl. A few of my work colleagues live there and they think it's a great place to live.

Just beware that the parts of Grenoside nearer to Fox Hill may have a problem with youths coming over and causing trouble, but on the whole I would recommend it.

Thanks everyone - actually managed to get a house to rent in Fulwood, with a nursery for my boy just down the same road - so no need to worry about Grenoside!
