Not sure of the legalities of this, but is the a program that can analyze my music collection and automatically download the video from the likes of youtube?

Dependant on the origin of your collection i would imagine. If your collection is bought and you are after watching the videos alongside them i would think you are legally entitled to download the song video for personal use as you have payed a fee.

If you have music by other means then that's your lookout to be honest i think it would all boil down to your right to distribute the material.

I am not sure of which program might work but you did raise an interesting question i hope the mods can keep this one open in the spirit of debate.

Just because you own the music doesn't give you the right to a copy if the video.
Legally, you would need to buy or obtain from approved sources.

I don't know any software that will automate downloading a playlist from YouTube

just google "youtube video downloader" ... i use 1 or 2 .. its easy theres loads out there , see which you find easiest to use ... if you use firefox i think theres an add in what does it for ya

you can download stuff from almost any site/page .... again google "flashsaver" etc ... tonsa stuff out there to nick stuff off almost any website you wish to
