I'll have a little slice of this pie as well please!!
We never looked like getting anything from the game and were poor from the start, well done to port vale!!
I hope they get a man utd, arsenal or liverpool at home in the next round, to give our lot a little poke in the eye for fielding such a crap team!! Can't understand why he didn't keep it the same as saturday?!?

i could understand a few of the changes, simek was shocking but that can be put down to match fitness, hinds looked poor esajas didnt look bothered miller and potter were out muscled in midfield, mcallister was thr best of a terrible bunch, tuggy couldnt get into the game and the least said about jeffers the better - though jj looked slightly dangerous when he came on, sodje probably did ok for 40mins then got injured again and oconner coming on baffled me

Not very good at banter, then, are you?

You have to be able to take it as well as dish it out, and thankfully most Wednesday fans have been very good about last nights result and taken it in good humour.

well ... their sub (number 4, dont know his name) came on and clattered him and he got a yellow card and sodje was limping, and we all know that spells bad times - put the icing on a terrible cake

think strafford ought to get himself on radio sheffield for a grumble about the team not turning up last night and then have a think about why 5k didn't turn up for scunny!!!

yeah, and maybe if the team actually put the effort in against these lesser teams then the fans would turn up

he needs to point the finger at the players for losing the club revenue -we could have earned a big money tie if we had won last night -rather than having a go at the fans .

hurstyowl
26-08-2009, 11:10
what gets me though is, we field a strong side against rochdale because laws wants to have a good cup run, not only to earn extra revenue but to also get a run of form going, but then against vale he fields a weaker team  why all the effort in the first round when you arent going to take the 2nd round seriously when we have a good chance of progressing.

I couldn't believe the cretins lining up to talk to him and have there pictures taken with him as he did his man of the people bit last night and came to talk to a couple of pensioners in the stand before the game
