Should we stay in the EU or get out?

You need a 3rd option. Stay in the Common Market but sever all the political ties. That would get my vote. But it isn't, so I won't vote.

i doubt that that is really possible without undoing all the EU political structures, which may not be a bad thing.

I like being a part of Europe. Europeans are fun.

Being able to buy things from EU countries without custom charges is nice.

Being able to go on holiday in Europe without any fuss or emigrate to other European countries easily is great.

European food safety laws are way better than ours.

Economically the EU has been pretty impressive lately, with the Euro nearly at parity there's a better argument than ever for switching.

I am generally into the idea of globalisation and higher powers of multinational regulatory bodies, so naturally support the EU.
