Why WI?
Looking for something a bit different to do? A way to meet new people?
Come join the WI!
Yes, really!
Women On The Edge is a different type of WI lite. We don't sing Jeruselem, we do occasionally make jam but more often its cakes. We have been established in Nether Edge since 2007 and are a small group looking for new members.
This is our programme of events for the rest of this year:
September 15th 2009 - Yoga come and have a go at being bendy
October 20th 2009 – History of Knickers – with cake!
November 17th 2009 – A visit to Abbeydale Picture House (TBC)
December 15th 2009 – Bauble swap (and quite possibly mulled wine)
Come along, check it out – you might just surprise yourself.....
Women On The Edge meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at St Peters Hall @ The corners of Woodstock, Tavistock and Empire Roads in Nether Edge. All ages are welcome.
