August Bank Holiday weekend, the last free Monday we all get off work.... What better way to spend your Saturday night than to get yourselves down to Plug and lose yourself for the night? To celebrate we're throwing a Wig Party, get dressed up as your favourite celebrity, dig out a classic 70's hair-do, or just change your look completely and become someone else for the night. It's all a bit of fun, will you recognise anyone you know? Invent yourself as someone new for the night, it's certainly going to be a hair raising experience!
So, to close off August in style we welcome back DREW SCOTT, a favourite of Plug's he's DJ/Producer that's held down a residency at one of the best house nights in the UK (and Ibiza) and someone who's guaranteed to give the dancefloor a damn good work out. To make things that little bit extra special, we're making this one into a WIG PARTY.
Drew has rocked the floors at many, many of the UK's best house nights, holding residencies in various cities for the likes of Lovefunky at the Empire in Middlesbrough, Retro at Tall Trees and the massive Kissdafunk (in the UK, Mallorca & Ibiza) He has also guested on the terrace of Amnesia for Cream, and at Eden. Basically he's very hot property and we're very pleased to be able to secure a Saturday night slot with him.
Drew's DJing style remains cutting edge with no set being like another. You can be assured he'll play sublime sounds of the utmost quality, put together with his seamless mixing ability and immaculate timing. This, merged with his infectious energy and inimitable presence behind the decks, combine to create an electric party atmosphere. He's rocked it every time he's played for us so we expect nothing less this time round, a perfect way to round off the month, we're sure you'll agree.
Joining him on the night will be LJ FREEMAN and GEOFF TICEHURST the Plug resident dancefloor destroyers. Sure to be sporting a couple of magnificent wigs they're a tag team worthy of any venue we're proud to be able to say that the only place you can catch these two is at Plug. Blending a host of house music styles is what makes the two of them special with Tech, Electro, Vocal, Minimal and damn right chunky beats all being thrown into the club blender with the result being a wonderfully tasty house musical pudding. Tasty indeed...
